If you read my last post, you know it took me 6 tries to get the Gingham Backdrop lined up correctly. So of course once I did it, I had to do it again for a second card. 😊 This was actually my first correct background and the card from yesterday was the second, but this one turned out just a little better so I wanted to use it on the card where the background would be more visible.
Materials used:
- Lawn Fawn Gingham Backdrop
- Lawn Fawn Sunflower ink
- Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Square Stackables
- Lawn Fawn Extra Special Easter
- Lawn Fawn Chirpy Chirp Chirp (for the grass)
- Lawn Fawn Freshly Cut Grass ink
- Lawn Fawn Scripty Happy
- Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes petite paper pack
- Glossy accents

Making this card reminded me once again that I need more yellow copic marker shades. 😊 That’s something I actually really like about copics for a beginner – once you start using them, it becomes very easy to know which colors to buy. As you color images you’ll feel the lack of the right color instinctively. I think this card could’ve turned out a little better if I had had a few more shades of yellow to work with. But oh, how I love that new plaid paper!
