This is a new Lawn Fawn set made for Ellen Hutson called S’more the Merrier. I was skeptical about buying it at first because I already own Lawn Fawn’s Love You S’more set and I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend money on a set with such a similar theme. I now kind of wish I hadn’t bought the previous set (even though I had no way of knowing this one was coming out and I’ve had that one for awhile) because the new one is much improved, in my opinion! This new one has critters that are definitely more in the traditional Lawn Fawn style and there are more and better sentiments. And the critters are posed in a better way to be around the fire. I’m really glad I got it and I think I’ll get lots of use out of it for summer and fall cards.
I love the halo around the fire – I saw this on the Lawn Fawn blog and loved the idea. I think it adds so much more to the scene!
I made two almost identical cards, except that I used the guitar in one of them and I spaced things out a little more so that the owl could really go to town on that tower of s’mores. It really makes me want to go camping!
