When your friends don’t find out the gender of their baby beforehand, you make two cards just to be prepared! (Or you make a gender-neutral card, but I really wanted to make this one.)
I was inspired by Karin from Peppermint Patty’s Papercraft. I just loved the look of this design and wanted to make my own.
I love the simplicity of this card, the sweet flowers, and the cute bunny. For some reason I have been obsessed with bunnies on cards lately, and luckily for me, Easter isn’t too far away. 🙂
This is the first time I adjusted one of my frame dies to fit a smaller card. I started running it though my die cut machine, stopped it partway, moved it down a few scallops and lined it up again, then continued running it through the machine. It creates the same frame but for the A2 size card, and it came out great.
My friends ended up having a girl, so I have a cute baby boy card ready to go now!

- A7 Scallops from Honey Bee (I used the second largest frame and removed 3 scallops from the length)
- White cardstock from stash
- Dot petite paper pack from Snap Color Vibe

- Magic picture changer from Lawn Fawn (for the square frame)
- Grassy border from Lawn Fawn (used as a stencil)
- Tumbled glass, crushed olive, and mowed lawn distress oxide inks
