This is a fairly simple card that I made for my niece and nephews this year, featuring the Spooktacular stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I don’t often make 5×7 cards but that size worked well for this particular design.
The background is a piece of Sugarplum cardstock with star sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. (I loved them so much on my last card that I had to use them again!) I cut the Grassy Border die from Black Licorice cardstock, along with the hillside/mound from the Leafy Tree Backdrop, and layered them on the bottom of the card. The house is the Haunted Manor die from Spellbinders.
I stamped and cut the characters from the Spooktacular set and colored them with Zig markers. I added a Fancy Wavy Banner with a sentiment from the Costume Party set, and popped a few things up with foam tape. And that was it!
This card is definitely a little more simplistic than how I have been making my cards lately, but it was nice for a change. I like how it looks like the little ghost is on his way to get candy from the house. 🙂 And I think it’s a good card for kids to enjoy.
Happy Halloween month!
