Mermazing Mermaid

I really love the way this card turned out. The sun ray stenciled background is just so pretty, and then to have the nice sparkles popping out on the mermaid, and to top it off with the embossed sentiment looking all shiny and 3D, everything came together so well.

I did originally try to add Fairy Dust stencil paste to the sun rays but it ruined the background and I had to start all over again. Maybe the stencil paste is my ongoing problem, since that happened with the robot card too, where the cardstock got pulled up and it was bleeding through. I’m not really sure why because I’ve used the stencil paste on other cards with no issue.

I definitely plan to make more of this card style in the future, with maybe more added to the ocean floor.
