I Sea It’s Your Birthday

The design of this card was a recreation of a card from this blog. I used a few different colors and I really love the way it turned out. I think the layout was such a cool idea, to have the ink blending in the background remain seamless while still popping up the shaker part. I would definitely like to make more cards like this! I think I need to invest in more varied shaker elements too. 😊

This was also my first time using the Lawn Fawn Hillside Stencils and Ocean Wave Stencils. I’m kind of obsessed with that ink blended sand look. It’s just so smooth and exactly what I picture being at the bottom of the ocean. I must have a weird fixation with sand because I also love creating beach scenes with lots of speckles. I like how this sand just gently fades into the sea water colors. So pretty!
