Bright Colors For Spring

This was actually the first square card I’ve ever made. I don’t have any pre-cut square bases so I don’t usually want to measure and cut them myself, but I really wanted to make this kind of design. I think it was worth it.

It took me awhile to plan out the papers and colors for this card. That’s something that has always taken me time but I’m getting better at it. The most fun part of this card was moving around all the eggs and papers until I found a layout where no same egg colors were next to each other, no same egg patterns were next to each other, no egg colors were on matching paper colors (the bottom left is close but I really like the way that one looks), and everything just looked right. It was a fun little puzzle!

This card might have the least amount of materials I’ve ever used for one card. It’s a nice, easy project.

Materials used:

  • Lawn Fawn Spring Fling petite paper pack
  • Snap Color Vibe petite paper pack
  • Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Square Stackables
  • Lawn Fawn Mini Easter Eggs
  • Lawn Fawn Happy Easter
