This was my first attempt using the new Waving Pull Tab from Lawn Fawn. It was a little tougher than it should have been because I wanted my bear to be lower on the card, so I couldn’t use the placement template that the waving element comes with. (There’s a little plastic piece that helps you line everything up correctly, but you can only line it up from the top of the card and it doesn’t reach any farther down than that.) So my cuts ended up being just barely off center because I didn’t have the template to line them up perfectly for me. This matters because when you go to attach the arms, one will stick out from behind the bear farther than the other and it won’t look right. I did my best to adjust for this and I think it turned out ok, but I did learn some lessons for next time.

Because I moved my bear lower on the card, I also had to manually punch my own hole in the pull tab. Then I decided to add a second brace on the bottom of the pull tab for more stability. I do think it’s such a cute idea for a card though and I like how much sparkle this card ended up having. 😊
