Llama Tell You…

This was my first desert-themed card and I am in love with how it turned out! The cacti are so fun and different from anything I’ve had on other cards, and the llama is so cute! I think the red and yellow layers make the blue sky really pop, and the cloud frames felt like the right style for this card.

This was also the first time I’ve used water on my distress oxide inks, believe it or not. After all the ink blending I’ve done on cards, I never felt quite sure that I wanted that “reaction” look. I’m glad I finally went for it on this card! It definitely adds interest to the sky and it looks more “normal” than I was expecting it to. I actually can’t wait to use that technique again on future cards!
