Have A Sweet Birthday

I really love the way this birthday card turned out!

I cut a piece of Mermaid cardstock with Honey Bee A7 Scallop Frames, and layered on a piece of patterned paper from Echo Park that was cut with Honey Bee Double Stitched Frames.

I then cut a stitched circle out of some patterned paper from the My Favorite Things Sweet Celebrations paper pack, and layered it with an Outside In Stitched Scalloped Circle from another sheet in the same pack. I added a small piece of Fog cardstock on top to create a kind of “table” for the sweets.

The treats are from the Lawn Fawn Here’s The Scoop stamp set, colored with Zig markers and popped up with foam tape. This was my first attempt at adding some white accents with a gel pen. I always like the way it looks on cards but I’ve been intimidated to try it. There’s room for improvement but I’m glad I went for it. 🙂

The sentiment is from the Baked With Love stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I love the way nice cursive looks and I’m a little bit obsessed with this font. 🙂

The “sweet” is the Scripty Sweet die from Lawn Fawn. I die cut it three times from Black Licorice cardstock, glued the layers together, heat embossed some Judikins clear sparkle embossing powder on it, and then added some glossy accents on top. I love, love, love the way it adds sparkle and shine to the card!

A cute, sweet birthday card. 🙂
