Today I’m sharing a fun birthday card I made recently.
This is from Lawn Fawn’s “Loveable Legends” stamp set and I just love it.
To make this card, I took Cilantro cardstock and stamped a bunch of trees for the background using Mowed Lawn and Crushed Olive inks. The tree stamp is part of the stamp set. I then die cut the Stitched Clouds Backdrop using some blue paper I had on hand, then cut a Grassy Border and Forest Tree Border both out of Noble Fir cardstock. I layered them all the way I wanted them, then added a circle border in Chocolate Bar cardstock cut from 2 sizes of Stitched Circles. I used that circle as my guide to cut away the excess of the other layers, then added one more circle border on top.
I stamped and cut out the Big Foot character and colored him in with Zig markers. (It took me FIVE attempts to get him colored the way I wanted! It looks simple but for some reason it just took a lot of work to get it right.) I wiggled him in where I wanted him and glued him down, then added a few extra fir trees that I popped up with foam tape.
I added a Stitched Rectangle Border with Chocolate Bar cardstock for the outside edge, and then stamped the sentiment with black ink on the largest Everyday Sentiment Banner.
