This is the first of some cards I made recently that are different from my usual style. More Spellbinders cards are coming soon!
I don’t have the Betterpress machine so I just used the Betterpress plate like an embossing folder in my regular die cutting machine. I’m sure the design would pop a lot more with the right machine and paper but it still did provide a subtle effect in the background.
It was good to branch out and make something in a different style. I really liked having “shaped” sentiments that weren’t just on a banner for a change. I have my eye on some simple card designs that I’ll be making soon and I’m really looking forward to those.
