This is my entry for the current Lawn Fawnatics birthday challenge:
I made a version of this card years ago with some patterned paper and always wanted to make it again, but I didn’t want to buy a whole pack of checkered paper when I really only wanted the red checkered pattern. (If only a craft company would sell just red checkered paper in a pack, and not a rainbow of colors!) The original card was here: https://handmadebyrachelle.com/2021/05/04/birthday-tacos/
I finally used my gingham background stamp and while I had a hard time getting it to stamp evenly (no matter how many times I tried to restamp it and press it down on every inch) it worked pretty well.
Materials used:
- Large Stitched Rectangles
- Country Gingham background stamp by Hello Bluebird
- Chili Pepper ink
- Scattered Straw distress oxide ink
- Year Nine
