Last year the post office lost / destroyed all of the Valentine’s that I had tried to mail out. I actually received an empty, mangled envelope back and I have no idea what happened. Needless to say it’s given me a lot of distrust in the post office, and every time I send out cards now I wonder if they’re actually being received. I made a card just like this last year and decided to send it out again this Valentine’s Day, since the recipient never got the first one. Fingers crossed this one makes it!
