Stained Glass Butterfly Card

For this card I used this stained glass glitter technique by Jennifer McGuire. You can watch her video here: https://youtu.be/neh-woJWFVs

The idea to use this technique with these Layered Butterflies was from Tammy Swanson. 😊 And it’s a great one! This part was a little time consuming and a tiny bit messy. I cut the butterfly out of Stick It Adhesive and then peeled back one section at a time while dumping glitter on it. That way I could add different glitter colors to different sections without it getting all over everything and mixing. Then the acetate over the top gives it the stained glass look, and the black glossy cardstock puts it over the top.

I think this makes a great sympathy card, simple and sweet.
