Mermaid For Each Other

I used the same camera design that I used on a previous card, and in hindsight I wish I had added a few more decorations to the front of it. If I were to make this card again I would definitely change up the design.

The mechanics of this card design also confuse me a little. The camera and magic iris are popped up with foam tape, but it still feels hard to grasp the handle, especially when it’s in the down/open position. Popping it up higher doesn’t seem like a very good option, especially when you can’t stabilize the camera on the right side because it would get in the way of the mechanism. I just wanted this to feel more study I guess.

Hopefully this is just a case of the creator being critical of their own work – I’m sure the recipient will still smile at this card!
