Winter Village

This was the first card I made with the Lawn Fawn Winter Village set and I think the stamps are so beautiful. I can’t say I’m totally happy with this card overall because the sky gave me some problems. I think this would’ve been better with a black sentiment instead of the silver, just to help it show up a little better. I felt like the sky was a little too empty so I added some heat embossed snowflakes, but they came out too messy and not defined, so I then added some die cut snowflakes on top of them. They didn’t completely cover the original snowflakes so it’s not perfect, but I can live with it. Luckily I really like the way the town looks and I know what I’ll change the next time I make this card. 😊

It’s hard to see in a photo, but I added sparkles to all the trees and glossy accents to all the windows and lamps and it adds so much! I think I would technically add this to my list of favorite cards for the year even though the sky has its issues, because I just really like the village!
