This was a design by Catherine Cohen that I really enjoyed recreating, with a few of my own twists. Her original card can be seen here: https://crafticat.art/2024/07/01/monopoly-with-lawn-fawn/

The base of the card was cut with the largest of the Large Stitched Square Stackables and then the base of the game board was cut with the largest of the Outside In Stitched Square Stackables.
For the individual spaces on the game board, the 4 square pieces on the corners were made with the inside/leftover piece of the smallest square from the Stitched Square Frames. And the rectangular pieces were made with the inside/leftover piece of the smallest rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle Frames, which was then also cut in half.

Catherine stamped and then die cut her images, and she did a great job recreating the look of the old-timey car on the original game board. I wanted everything on my card to be a single layer except for the mouse and the money in the middle, so I stamped directly onto the game board pieces instead of die cutting them. I used an image of a more modern car from “Happy Village” for the free parking space and I really like how perfectly it fits into the square. She used a pointing hand image from one of the planner sets that I don’t have for the “Go to jail” space, so I used a thumbs up image from “# awesome” instead and I think it works just as well. I also used a few different phrases around the board, a different alphabet set for the word “Go”, and I added some sparkle to my coins just for fun. 😊
I think the hardest part of making this card was masking off the rectangle pieces at the same spot on all of them so that the inked colors would match and look even, but even that turned out pretty perfectly on the first try so it wasn’t that difficult. I did color around the jail cell with a copic marker that kind of bled over the masking tape and I had to try and fix it and it got a little wonky, so next time I would just color it myself without tape to make the straight lines and I think it would be fine.
There were a lot of steps to this card but as soon as I was done making it I wanted to make another. It’s such a versatile style of card that could be good for many different people. I’m sure it won’t be too long before I create this card again!

Wow!! This is SUPERB, FANTASTIC!! I had never seen this post by Cat Cohen, although I have been following her for a while. She’s SOOO talented. Having said that, I like your card even better than hers. I’m not sure why… it’s some indefinable something… I think your colors are a little bolder (I’m here for it) and I like that you did not use white gel pen highlights on yours.
This is one of my top 10 favorite cards EVER seen online. I cannot overstate how much I like it. It’s PHENOMENAL. I give credit to Cat for the idea and love your take.
