A Wicked Awesome Card

I recreated this design by Mimi and I like how it turned out. It did take a lot of steps so I don’t know that I would make it again anytime soon, but maybe that’s because I made two at once. And now that I’ve already made it that would save some of the time it took to figure things out. Either way I do think the recipients will really enjoy these!

This is my entry for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge, inspired by a book, movie, or song.

Here are some progress pictures from creating the characters:

I used the negative space after cutting out On The Road as a stencil for inking up the road.
I tested out adding feet like in the original card design but decided I liked it better without them.
And here are all of the attempts to figure out the spacing and colors for the sentiment on the banner. Too many!
