Ice Skating Bear

I found this design on http://www.thereisacardforthat.ca/2017/12/happy-holiday-series-dimensional-slider.html?m=1 and I wanted to create it myself.

Maybe the hardest part of this card was curving the sentiment at the top to match the oval shape. There might be an easier way to do this, but this is how I did it:

First I cut out the oval shape and placed the background in my MISTI.
Then I closed the door of the MISTI, placed the cut out oval shape on top, and taped it down, trying to match it as closely as possible to the shape in the background.
I then opened the door of the MISTI back up and placed my sentiment stamp on the inside. I used the taped oval piece as a guide for where to place the stamp and and how much to curve the text.

I think there’s probably an easier way to set up a curved sentiment but this at least allowed me to place the sentiment stamp and hold the curve. I still didn’t get it perfect but it was close. If anyone has a better trick please let me know!

I like the layout of this card and think it turned out cute. I also really liked coloring the trees with 2 different shades of green copic markers. I think that adds a nice touch.
