This was a card design by Catherine that I recreated. Her original card can be seen here: https://crafticat.art/2023/08/17/wish-upon-a-star-with-lawn-fawn/
This is my entry for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge, Woodland Wonder.

I really wanted to find a die that would cut out a perfect sleeping bag shape but I ended up just doing it by hand. I attached the critters to the towels (snipping off the top of the fox tail and some of the lower halves of their bodies) and then cut a rough shape and trimmed it down to size. I was intimidated by it at first but it ended up being easy.
I used Pixie Spray to stick down the moon from the Nighttime Sky Stencils so I could ink blend around it (it was actually already on the stencil from the first time I used it years ago) and it ended up leaving residue on my cardstock that I couldn’t get off. So I added the little baby owl on the cards with the worst spots to try and cover up those places.
Materials used:
- Large Stitched Rectangles
- Nighttime Sky Stencils
- Distress oxide inks: Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness
- White copic paint
- Grassy Border
- Build A Campsite
- Sweater Weather Remix paper (I never actually purchased this paper; I just cut out as many tents as I could from the free pieces of paper I got with some past orders, and that’s why I made 6 of these cards 🙂)
- Cardstock: Peacock, Canned Pumpkin, Black Licorice, Sunflower, Fake Tan, Noble Fir, Cilantro
- Forest Backdrop
- Fall Fling petite paper pack
- Build A Snowman (I used the piece for the scarf around the neck to make the top “cuff” on the sleeping bags)
- Mom + Me (for the baby owl)
- On The Beach
- Everyday Sentiment Banners
- White embossing powder

These are so so sweet
