While I was making these I wasn’t sure about them but I ended up really liking how they turned out. I think they’re even better in person, when you can appreciate the weight of the cardstock and the depth of having that middle panel popped up. They actually became a favorite of mine! And I hadn’t used the Stitched Windy Backdrop in quite some time but I knew it would be perfect for this – it adds just the right amount of background detail!
I took one sheet of each color (green, pink, brown, yellow, and orange) from the Knit Picky petite paper pack and cut out as many leaves as I could from them, and it ended up being the perfect amount to mix and match colors and make 5 different cards with. I’ve been making a point to use up old paper packs so I don’t have a bunch of half-used ones in my stash and it feels so good to finish them up. I actually very often take old papers and flip them over to use the white side and that has helped me use up a bunch.
