I saw this design by Mimi and just had to recreate it. Sometimes it’s frustrating when there is a fun card idea but no blog post or video or tutorial to show how to make it, so I knew that once I figured out how to make it myself I would want to share helpful tips for anyone else who might want to try it.

I love the cute winter scene, especially for people who don’t celebrate Christmas. I made 8 of these cards because I liked it so much. I added a bunch of glitter to the trees and some of the snow but it’s hard to capture in a photo.

Here are the steps to create the bear:
1. Take the Little Snow Globe Bear stamp and mask off the bottom of the stamp, the part with the snow globe bottom. Stamp it.
2. Use the coordinating die to cut it out.

3. Take the smallest circle in the Large Stitched Circles set and cut it out of a scrap piece of paper.

4. Take the piece with the negative space (the piece on the left in the picture above) and place the Little Snow Globe Bear behind it. Line up the circle of the snow globe with the cut out circle.

5. Draw in the rest of the circle. The size matches perfectly to finish the shape. I drew mine with pencil first and then again with a copic multiliner pen.

6. Cut away the extra area. To make this card I also cut in towards the bear a little more following the circle line, so that I could tuck in the die cut for the bottom circle of the snow man and hide that spot by his feet where it cuts in sharply.

And that’s it! Pretty easy to do and it makes such a cute card.
