Dreamy Fairy Tale Pumpkin Card

The moment I saw this design by Grace during Lawn Fawn inspiration week, I fell in love with it. I created the background and cut out everything I had in advance and then when my order arrived with the items from the new release, I put it all together. I love a cute fairy tale card and this one is just so pretty!

One thing Grace used on her card is a foiled background. I don’t own a hot foil machine so to get a similar look I cut a piece of Pixie Dust cardstock with the largest of the Large Stitched Rectangles. Then I took another piece of cardstock and stenciled my cloud background onto it, and then cut it with the Snowy Starry Backdrop. I placed the Pixie Dust piece behind the ink blended piece so that the sparkles would shine through. I’m sure the foiled background is beautiful but until I own those supplies, this was a nice substitute to get some sparkle and shine!

The other thing Grace used was the sentiment from the Dream Big bookmark stamp set that says “May all of your wishes come true.” I don’t own that stamp set so I used a very similar sentiment from Dandy Day that days “May all your dreams come true.” I also used Rose Gold embossing powder instead of gold, but I think both are lovely and next time I might try regular gold! (Because there will be many more versions of this card created in my future I’m sure!)
