This card was a design I had made before, but I made some changes this time that I love. The previous card was folded and can be seen here:
Folded Wedding Card Recreation
This time I made it a slider card. I decided to hide a sentiment behind the images so that it would appear only when the images were moved out of the way. I think it makes for such a fun little surprise and I like how even the font of the sentiment matches the one on the banner pretty well.
I also used cloud frames instead of the full clouds this time and I like seeing more of the sky, especially because this time I added some gold metallic splatters that look sooo pretty. It’s hard to tell in the photos but on my Instagram I included a short video where the shine can really be seen.
I can definitely see creating this version again in the future because I really love how it turned out. But who knows, maybe next time I’ll think of another update to add!

I used two different slider pieces to move the group of images across the card. Here’s the back view:

I cut out a bunch of different circles and glued them together to make my slider pieces, so they’re always just made out of cardstock. The most important thing was to attach a big enough piece of foam adhesive to the back of them to fit the width of the slider track. At first I had the adhesive too narrow so the images were wiggling around up and down as they moved along the track. As soon as I added a wide enough piece of adhesive they stayed steady as they slid along the track.
