This was a design by Nichol Spohr that I recreated and I just love it. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to make it myself and it did not disappoint. I gave this card to my husband and the extra benefit was that it stayed in my house so I get to see it all the time. 😊
I almost never use the emboss resist technique where you heat emboss first and then ink, so it was fun to do it here and I loved the result.
Here is a link to Nichol’s video making her original card: https://youtu.be/UtTjiCjpU2k

Materials used:
- Large Stitched Rectangles (in hindsight I wish I had just cut cardstock to the right size so the ink didn’t get caught in the stitching detail)
- Concentric Hearts by Simon Says Stamp
- Xs and Os background stamp by My Favorite Things
- Distress oxide inks: Candied Apple, Saltwater Taffy, Tattered Rose
- From The Heart Messages by Simon Says Stamp
- White embossing powder
- Rich Red Matte cardstock by Simon Says Stamp
